james eric jones is a creative director and graphic designer who, for the last
two decades, has made his home in paris, moscow and stockholm.

the creative studio he began in 2005 that focuses on corporate identity, brand building and custom publication design.

with 25 years of experience in magazine design and direction, mostly at fashion titles, james eric has put his talent and expertise to task for a vast array of clients,
from international players like martini, dunhill and johnnie walker to smaller startups and boutique entrepreneurs.

the arc of his editorial career—starting with the launch of elle russia in 1995—places james eric at the foundation of magazine publishing in moscow.
he has been fortunate enough to create or recreate almost every noteworthy magazine on the russian market, from vogue russia and harper's bazaar to jalouse, grazia and gq. since his move to paris in 2012, james eric has served as the art director of elle france, be magazine and, most recently, gq.
